Our Story

In 2001, it all started with a personal computer and one ambitious dream.  A dream of creating moving images that bring cinematic and broadcast quality production to what is otherwise your average photo and video documentation of memories.  This vision translated to the journey that is Director’s Cut Digital Video Production.

With humble beginnings in editing Mass Communication student theses, DC ventured into wedding videography.  We are one of the few pioneering Filipino videography studios that totally changed the traditional concept of a wedding video.  After over a decade in the industry, DC garnered multiple awards given by both domestic and international organizations such as Sony Philippines and the Wedding and Event Videographers Association International (WEVA) based in Florida, USA.

Based in Manila, Philippines, DC is owned by husband and wife team Neil Burdeos, Creative Director/Principal Videographer, and Cristina Burdeos, Managing Director /Writer-Producer.

Neil is a former Writer-Producer of ABS-CBN International, and Producer/TV Director of Vintage TV for many years.  Cristina is also a former Writer-Producer of ABS-CBN International and ABS-CBN Studio 23.  She then earned her Masters in Business Management degree at the Asian Institute of Management before crossing over as Senior Manager for Corporate Strategic Planning for GMA Network, Inc., and Business Development Senior Manager of GMA International.  Both have part-time faculty experience with the Department of Communication at De La Salle University - Manila.  Together, the tandem brings a cumulative of 52 years experience in multimedia conceptualization and creative execution.
